Jay Thompson Shares His Experience In Over 5 Years of Blogging
The goal of any Real Estate Blog is (or should be) to build some solid content around your site that gives people what they really want – valuable, trustworthy information. That’s how you get people coming back to your site. That’s how you get people to willingly register to your IDX or willingly contact you. After all, they trust you as the “Go To” source for local information…right?
But it’s often easier said than done. At least it feels that way doesn’t it?
Well, in this video interview, Jay Thompson, Broker/Owner of Thompson’s Realty shares his insights on 5+ years of blogging at http://www.phoenixrealestateguy.com. His advice:
- Writing takes time & energy so don’t do it if you’re not going to take it seriously.
- Make writing part of your prospecting time (you have to make the time to write).
- Don’t be afraid to test new things.
- Re: IDX – it doesn’t matter if YOU like the IDX product, what matters is whether consumers like the IDX product. (Thanks for the shout-out Jay, we love that you love our IDX product).
